Wine Dierickx won the 2016 Theo D’Or theater award (for the most impressive female role) for her role in Helpdesk.
Helpdesk was selected for the 2016 Dutch and Flemish Theatre Festival.
“Wine Dierickx is the perfect helpdesk lady: she is representative, sensitive, accommodating and has an extremely pleasant voice.”
Dick van Teylingen (Theaterkrant)
From her call centre located high-up, Karen Vandeputte looks out over the city. Here she runs Caren’s Company: a helpdesk that provides practically all possible services and products. A conversation with ‘Caren’ is much more than just a conversation: it is an experience.
To help her various clients, she has to have a thorough command of ever-changing specializations. And while continuously adopting new identities, she increasingly loses her own old self.
Helpdesk is an intimate performance at a spectacular location, during which the audience gradually forgets its role of a voyeur and becomes part of Karen’s fragmented reality.

“Actress Wine Dierickx has the city of wandering souls at her feet and it looks as beautiful as it is lonely.”
Karin Veraart (Volkskrant)
“In this beautiful, witty and meaningful solo by theater collective Wunderbaum, the Flemish Dierickx plays a telephone counsellor, a woman who is at once a handywoman, a therapist, a friend, a soundboard and an outlet for others.”
NRC
“Masterfully subtle, Dierickx loses herself in her role as confessor, call girl and care slave.”
Wouter Hillaert (Standaard)
